Hooded Vulture, Necrosyrtes monachus, Léona, Senegal, 26 Febr 2020 (4/5)

Unfortunately, this characterful vulture is now also critically endangered, with a decrease in numbers of up to 77% in three generations (of vultures, not humans). Pied Crow (Corvus albus) here is its usual West Africa side-kick, as in video 4/5. (In videos 1/4 it is Somali Crow, Corvus edithae, and in 2/4 and 3/4, it is Ethiopian endemic Thick-billed Raven, Corvus crassirostris).
