You can see the whole story of DMA Design at - The Grand Theft Auto series is world renowned. Everyone and their mother’s mother has heard of it. But not everyone has seen the early 1994 and 1995 prototypes my Mike Dailly of DMA Design. So here they are, for your viewing pleasure. The first is an early isometric attempt, which after consideration was realised to be too clunky and restrictive. The second is the overhead view point we’re more used to with the first and second game.
