Bassekou Kouyaté + Seckou Keita - Al Ajahleh (feat. The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians)

The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians is joined by Bassekou Kouyaté (N’goni) and Seckou Keita (Kora) at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, for this version of Al Ajahleh. Featuring solos from flautist Moslem Rahal and violinist Majd Jredah. The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians and Guests live album is out now: Co-commisioned by 14-18 NOW and Holland Festival, the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians, featuring current and former members of the Syrian National Orchestra for Arabic Music, took to the stage for a rare concert to showcase Syrian and Arabic music.
