Allplan Pro-Tip: Special Reinforcing - Modeling a complex detail

Welcome to this Allplan Pro-Tip on special reinforcing. In this brief video we’re going to look at how we can model a tricky detail using both the Convert Match Elements command and the basic Var Shape command. This is the detail that we’ll be recreating. And the horizontal portion is straightforward but the angled pier has some complexity to it, with sloped and differing length bars. We will look at how to tackle this in Allplan, and note this is not the only way to go about reinforcing this detail, this is just one way to do it.
