Status Quo - The End Of The Road Farewell Concert, Milton Keynes Bowl 21st July 1984 (LaserDisc)

On the 21st July 1984, Quo were to play their final live gig ever! It took place at the Milton Keynes Bowl and was attended by around 45,000 members of the Quo Army. It was filmed and recorded to be released onto 2 home videos titled, ’End Of The Road’ & ’More From The Road’. The band went to a studio down in Woldingham, Surrey on the 18 September (1984), to mix and overdub the Milton Keynes Tapes as well as discussing the future of the band itself. In October (1984), prior to the band shooting the Wanderer promo, they edited the footage from the Milton Keynes gig ready for it to be released the following month (November). This was the fastest selling music video and hit Number One in the charts giving it the Golden Sale Status. It is still yet to be re-released.
