A delicately Falvoured , mildly spiced and amazingly delicious. My recipe for paneer biryani is for all biryani lovers. If you are vegetarian and love the Falvours of authentic biryani then this paneer biryani is a must try. #PaneerBiryani #vegbiryani #recipe #youtube #biryani Ingredients Quantity Oil 2-3 tbsp Cumin seeds ½ tsp Onion chopped 2 no’s Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp Tomatoes chopped 2 no’s Salt to taste Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Garam masala 1 tsp Water as required Green chilli slits 2-3 no’s Ginger juliennes ½ inch Yoghurt 1 cup Lemon juice ½ no Cardamom powder ½ tsp Mint leaves 10 – 12 for layering Brown onion ½ cup ½ for layering Screw pine water ½ tsp Rose water ½ tsp Saffron soaked 6-7 strands Ghee 2 tbsp 2 tbsp for layering Coriander chopped handful Paneer cubes 200 gm crushed for layering For Boiling Rice:- Water as required Salt to taste Bay leaf 2 no Shah Jeera 1 tsp Basmati rice soaked 200 gm Method:- For masala 1. Heat up a Borosil triply kadai add oil, cumin seeds, onion chopped mix well and saute till brown in colour. 2. Now add ginger, garlic paste mix well and saute for few sec. 3. Then add tomatoes chopped and salt mix well and saute until the tomatoes gets soft. 4. Further add red chilli, coriander, turmeric, garam masala powder and water mix well and roast the masala. 5. Now add green chilli slits, ginger juliennes and yoghurt, mix well and add lemon juice and mix well and switch off the flame. 6. Then add cardamom powder, mint leaves, brown onion and mix it well. 7. Further add screwpine and rose water, saffron strands, ghee and coriander chopped mix well. 8. Now add paneer cubes and mix it well. For boiling rice. 1. Take a Borosil triply kadai add water and bring a boil. 2. Now add salt mix it. 3. Then add bay leaf, shah Jeera and soaked basmati rice cook For Layering. 1. Take a Borosil SS tope add ghee, water and half of the masala mix it well. 2. Now layer with rice, mint leaves, brown onion. 3. Sprinkle the garam masala, half of the soaked saffron and ghee. 4. Then add rest of the masala and crumble paneer. 5. Further do the same process. 6. Lastly seal the biryani pot with a flour dough. 7. Cook on dum in low flame for 10 mins. 8. Remove in a borosil larah series serving bowl. 9. Garnish with mint sprig and brown onion. 10. Serve immediately.
