Shakhtar Donetsk’s Donbass Arena Almost Killed a Girl After Collapsing Piece of Dam 21/10/2014 GIRL SURVIVES STADIUM COLLAPSE Footage has been released of a shell that hit Shakhtar Donetsk’s soccer stadium, Donbass Arena in Ukraine and shattered part of the stadium causing pieces to fall outside of the stadium, almost killing one woman. A little girl in Ukraine has survived a close call with a glass panel from a soccer stadium. Erin Hawksworth reports. The insane video of Shakhtar Donetsk’s soccer stadium, Donbass Arena in Ukraine collapsing Monday after it was hit by a presumably rebel shell that is used as a bombardment rocket, showed one woman nearly inches from death as large parts of the stadium collapsed onto the ground after it was hit with the shell. The woman seemed to be walking into or toward the soccer stadium when the stadium was hit with the shell, she fell down and then a large part of the outside of the stadium collapsed right in front of her, but she was able to get up with the help of another bystander and they rushed inside the stadium. There is a current ceasefire agreed between the government and Russian-backed separatists but Shakhtar’s stadium was still badly damaged on Monday when it suffered a direct hit from the shell. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Donbass Arena was a $400 million soccer stadium project and was built for Euro 2012. From the video, we can see one section of glass and scaffolding get taken out completely, and who knows the other damage that was done around the stadium or inside. We’re just happy the woman in the video seemed uninjured from the horrific incident. EPIC VIDEO!
