Methylene Blue and Near Infrared Light for Neuroprotection

Studies show that neurons are metabolically protected when low dose Methylene Blue is administered systemically. Methylene Blue promotes energy metabolism and neuronal survival. A similar protective effect is observed with near infrared light. Let’s review.
