Tanker Volgoneft 114 on Volga River

The Oil Products Tanker Volgoneft 114 is sailing along the Volga River past the city of Yaroslavl. This tanker was built according to the project 550A in 1974 at the Ivan Dimitrov shipbuilding and ship repair plant. The tanker’s carrying capacity is 4800 tons, power is 1472 kW. This is a single-deck, twin-screw tanker motor ship with a double bottom, double sides, a forecastle and a poop, a superstructure and a mooring station in the aft part, and a transition bridge in the vessel’s main part. This vessel is designed for transportation in river conditions of petroleum products of classes I and II with a specific gravity of 0.8 kg/m³ and petroleum products of classes III and IV that require heating. This vessel can also be used to transport petroleum products at sea, allowing the use of inert gases in cargo holds. Shooting date: August 15, 2023. Location: Yaroslavl City, The Volga River.
