Sheriff talks surrender of Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin

We are now hearing from Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby in Utah. Brooksby recounted how a retired deputy called him on the morning of Sept. 11 to say he was aware of who shot Charlie Kirk. The person who made the call was reportedly a family friend of the Robinson family. Brooksby says that this person was later able to identify Tyler Robinson as the shooter. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is learning more as police in Utah brief the public on how everything unfolded. This comes as Robinson’s mother told investigators she had watched her son change dramatically in the year leading up to the Utah college shooting of Charlie Kirk. She recounted heated arguments between Robinson and his father, who held sharply different views and regularly sparred over their competing ideologies. “Robinson’s father reported that when his wife showed him the surveillance image of the suspected shooter in the news, he agreed that it looked like their son,“ prosecutors alleged in court filings. His father confronted him and talked him into surrendering to authorities. Subscribe to LiveNOW from FOX! Where to watch LiveNOW from FOX: Follow us @LiveNOWFOX on Twitter: Raw and unfiltered.
