Mayfair, London. Dumas, the hairdresser, has created various hairstyles based on a Japanese theme. M/S of a man in Japanese mandarin costume as he strikes or bongs a large gong. M/S of a girl in a kimono, reveals herself as she closes a large blue fan. Her name is Gwen Cotton, and her hair is elaborately dresses in a Japanese style black wig, decorated with orchids. She has Japanese style make up with very pale foundation. She turns her head to show the style. M/S of the mandarin raising the gong stick and striking.
