“Aj Karmela!“ - Spanish Republican Song in Serbo-Croatian [Lyrics + Translation]
The republican song of the Spanish Civil War “¡Ay Carmela!“ not only had many variations within Spain, but also outside of it, with adaptations being made in several other languages. This version was recorded in 2000 by singer-songwriter Darko Rundek, who was born in modern-day Croatia. The images and video are of the Yugoslav Partisans of World War II.
