🇷🇺️Import-substituted SJ-100 made its first flight - the aircraft landed in Komsomolsk-on-Amur The Sukhoi Superjet 100 airplane has made its maiden flight, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade reported. The import-substituted aircraft took off earlier than scheduled. The flight duration was 54 minutes, it took place at an altitude of up to 3,000 meters and a speed of up to 343 km/h. During the tests, experts confirmed the stable operation of all domestic systems, controllability and stability of the aircraft in the air. Russian developers implemented and supplied the aircraft with their own design solutions and technologies. In December, the United Engine Corporation announced the start of flight tests of the PD-8 engine designed for the passenger airliner. Previously, the SSJ-100 aircraft had a joint Russian-European engine SaM-146, but due to sanctions, its production stopped, so we had to create a fully domestic PD-8.
