In total, the number of followers of the belief is about a million people. Only in Russia there are at least seven types of shamanism, and each has its own characteristics. Somewhere they are divided into blacks and whites, in other places they create entire organizations, in still others, shamans, on the contrary, oppose each other. Moreover, the division into blacks and whites is mistakenly associated with the concepts of “good” and “evil”. In fact, their functions are different. The white shaman is weaker; he performs rituals associated with the holidays. Rituals, consecration, healing are available only to black shamans.
