piano sonata in f major, played in the second round of the solo finals of the 64th busoni piano competition, august 2023 disclaimer: there is a cut in the middle of the second movement, just before the repeat. the reason is that i’ve had a memory lapse. a really sad thing especially considering that i’ve prepared for the competition so much and then had a thing like that pretty much right at the beginning of the performance, as I had 50 minutes more to play. the main reason behind this is an unfortunate event that happened with me right after getting to know that I got qualified for the next round, on the evening of the 25th: I went for a jolly walk through the city center and suddenly my attention got caught by a gentleman who looked as a local who was drinking out of a certain fountain which looked perfectly legit in twilight. well, next thing you know, I’m drinking from the fountain, and then I’m getting knocked out for the whole next day with a wild water poisoning accompanied
