From “Áfram Latibær“, the old old Lazy town stage play by Magnús Scheving. I really love that it’s subtitled. So easy to see what the lyrics are and where they go. *Translation notes: I still can’t work out what “spýtukarl minn veg“ is supposed to mean, but I hope it means something like “I feel like my legs are made of lead“ to mean that your legs feel heavy and hard to move, so I went with that. I realize now that “I’m called stiff Solla“ might be more accurate than “My name is Solla stirtha“. oops. For the spoken bits- apparently youtube doesn’t acknowledge “ð“ or “þ“, so I wrote in “th“.
