Wanna reblog on tumblr? My entry for AU round in The Hogwarts Contest! Our task was to create an AU story, so I made an AU for Thranduil. Plot: When the elves left Middle Earth, Thranduil was the only elf to stay behind. He wanted to live in hs forest forever, but time passed, the world changed and he saw all of it. Soon there is no Erin Lasgalen to protect. Humans are mortal, and he tries his best not to get attached to any of them. But once, into a court where he was a judge, was lead a young man who looked just like Legolas. He wasn’t Legolas, he was just a human, and a criminal, and Thranduil had no choice but to sign his hanging. It was a hard blow. Then at the beginning of 20th century he fell in love with a human woman, and he watched her grow old and die. And after that he started hating his immortal life.
