Belcher’s sea snake - one of the most venomous sea snakes in the world

They are typically found swimming near by tropical reefs in the Indian Ocean, New Guinea, Gulf of Thailand, Indonesia and off the coast of the Philippines. These sea snakes are medium in size, ranging from 0.5 to 1 meter in adult length. Its thin body is usually chrome yellowish in color with dark greenish crossbands. The small head has similar band color as the rest of his body and its small mouth is suitable for its underwater living.
