Ludi Megalenses - Ludi Scaenici Poetici: Nova Roma Through The Ages

The aediles curules of Nova Roma, Cn. Cornelius Lentulus and M. Aurelius Cotta Iovius, are offering you these little Ludi Scaenici Poetici. This theatrical presentation of four poems that were all written for milestone anniversaries of Nova Roma is our offering as a piece of Ludi Scaenici Poetici, a theatrical poetic tribute to Magna Mater for the current Ludi Megalenses, but also to Concordia whom Nova Roma celebrates throughout this year, the 25th Anniversary Year - Sacred Year of Concordia. This theatrical presentation of the poems is our offering as a piece of Ludi Scaenici Poetici. The Megalesia were always famous in ancient Rome from the great display of theater productions for the games -- the aediles of Nova Roma wish to honor this ancient tradition. Praetor C.
