Being exposed to different cultures and making frequent visits to Africa from a young age, she quickly noticed the differences in the beauty routines and ingredients black women were applying to their skin. Using natural oils grown in the region of their ancestors, Lorraine was inspired to start mixing creams and cleansers of her own. After successfully using her creations and experiencing a visible change in the healthy shine of her skin, she strived to create a better experience for melanin-rich skin on the Western skincare market.
