Trumpeter’s Me262 modified to an Me262/U3 photo-reconnaissance version

This is my video of Trumpeter’s Me262 kit, modified to a photo-reconnaissance version. Not the most numerous variant of this iconic aircraft, they were nonetheless successful in the closing stages of WW2. This particular aircraft, ’White 29’, was delivered from the factory at Cheb in then-Czechoslovakia to III./EJG2 for pilot training; a small batch of similarly-painted aircraft had been delivered to short-range-reconnaissance unit NAGr6, but almost immediately, they were also passed to III./EJG2 for pilot training. The model has been converted to the reconnaissance version using the AIMS conversion set which comprises the cameras, some small attachments for same, the modified camera bay and nose covers as well as the lower fuselage panels for the transparencies. __________ All materials used in the building of this kit were purchased from my own funds, and I was not sponsored to undertake the work. __________ All music tracks on this video are from Epidemic Sound, and are: - Subtle Substitute - Alex Slayne - Among the Clouds - Helmut Schenker - Warped by Light - Jay Varton - Trapped - Ruiqi Zhao - Like Moths to a flame - Alec Slayne - Solidago - Dye O - Holding on to Hope - Megan Wofford - Tyrany - Dream Cave - Send in the Cavalry - Fredrik Ekström - The Conquerer - Hampus Naeselius
