Good evening, my little doves. It’s happened again: I saw the teezers and this time, I went on a little journey to Brussels. Not gonna lie, when Day2 in Berlin was announced, I was like „Do I sell my ticket to Brussels?“ and I decided I wouldn’t because last night’s show was on a Saturday and Berlin D2 wasn’t. So here I was, standing in windy, rainy weather, watching other people dance to K-pop songs at Random Dance just an hour or two before the actual show would start. The crowd was so different already, everyone was hyped and in a good mood despite the organization of the show being even WORSE than the one in Berlin because this time, there was no numbering and only 2 people from the venue were available if we had questions. I was told to line up with General Admission (standing tickets) which made no sense and honestly, we weren’t properly checked when let in either (Berlin staff at least switches to English when they notice someone doesn’t speak German – Brussels staff was like What, you don’t know French? Well, move on then) but I got in faster than I did in Berlin. That counts for something, right? The venue itself was built a bit weird because you had to access my side of the seating area via the GA. With us all being mixed together, I could’ve stayed in GA but I didn’t because I paid for seating and I’d been on my feet the whole time with me having gone to the ATEEZ Pop Up Store in Brussels and then trying to find my way back to the venue. I don’t know why I was struggling to find my way around Brussels but other „almantinys“ (German atinys) I met and talked to felt the same. Talking about the Germans – there were a LOT! Others said it was 40%, I think half of the crowd at last night’s BREAK THE WALL Tour was German which makes sense: Brussels is close-ish to the German border for people living in NRW and it was on a weekend. So it was all good, alright, no lie (if you got that reference, I like you ♥) But back to the issue I had with Berlin: The crowd was a LOT better. Everyone was super energetic and there was a volume indicator, implying we went of 135 dB. For your information: anything over 120 dB is damaging your hearing, so Brussels was LOUD-loud. Everyone was cheering and having a generally good time. Unfortunately people sitting/standing in front of me were either taller than me or waving with their lightsticks so high, I couldn’t see properly again. I also lost the member I wanted to focus on every now and the (as well as focus because my camera can’t handle weird lighting) because I couldn’t really see what was going on on stage much. I felt like the camera people at MuBank haha But anyways: I said it before and I’ll say it again, I will probably avoid going to any concert organized by Karsten Jahnke (or Karsten…. (grim face, angry voice) as almantinys call him) because those were just … unpleasant to be at. I also heard of a group of stalkers that made ateez‘ and atinys‘ stay in Berlin hard which might explain why ateez didn’t seem as energetic in Berlin as they seemed in Brussels. The boys seemed to have a lot more fun with the Belgian crowd and I can only assume it was because we were shouting their stress away. From the bottom of my heart, thanks to the atinys I met and talked to during this tour (I will stay away from buying tickets to see them in Copenhagen again, hotels are expensive and I will NOT be sleeping on the streets for a K-Pop group, going to concerts two times is expensive enough in a month) – thank you for the freebies and the fun I had especially with Belgian atinys.
