Prague bans passengers on public transport without masks

(17 Mar 2020) Czech authorities have banned all passengers who are not wearing face protection from public transport in Prague to slow the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. The city’s mayor Zdenek Hrib passed the measure in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The ban applies to buses, trams as well the subway network.
