Weaving Piña Cloth

These Filipino words come together to make the piña cloth - an exquisite and delicate handwoven cloth made from the fibers of the pineapple plant’s leaves. Once used for traditional clothes like the Barong Tagalog, this pineapple silk is now becoming popular across the world for it’s organic, airy textile.
