In this Chrysler promotional video from the 1990s - Chrysler chronicles the development of the Viper RT/10 from concept to the production of the pace car for the 75th Indy 500 in 1991, which was driven by automotive designer and race car driver, Carroll Shelby. Fittingly, Chrysler includes shots of the Shelby Cobra (1960s), alongside the Viper RT/10, as both tear up the road with engines roaring and tires smoking.
