Tropics update: Atlantic disturbance could develop on way to Florida | Latest forecast

A tropical disturbance in the Atlantic has better odds of development as it approaches the Bahamas, in range of Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center. It now has 60% odds, an increase from 50% earlier this week. It could possibly become a tropical depression -- and then possibly a tropical storm this week.
