The recent batch of releases from Fiadh Productions includes the majestic, folklore-inspired two-track EP of atmospheric black metal from Montana-based solo project Uamh.
The grandeur of the scenery around the bands’ hometown no doubt a great influence on the imposing walls of sound, euphoric melodicism, and cinematic scale of the long-form, narrative-structures of these post-black tracks, Ràithean is a compelling follow-up to the debut A Windswept River’s Edge, Carved Through Ancient Stone, setting up the idea of a full length as one of my most anticipated releases.
The EP is released in a run of 50 gold glitter cassettes with logo patch, available to order from Fiadh in the US:
