Anti-monarchy demonstrators protest coronation of King Charles III

Anti-monarchy protesters took to the streets of London, England on Saturday to speak out against the coronation of King Charles III. Demonstrators, many from the anti-monarchy group Republic, chanted “Not my King” and booed Charles III as his coronation procession passed by on the way to Westminster Abbey. Police said they had arrested seven protesters in what they called a “significant police operation.” One of those arrested was the head of Republic, Graham Smith. King Charles was formally crowned in a lavish ceremony at the Abbey.
