1992 Kona Lava Dome gets a second life! - Build & Ride

Watch me build up this beautiful steel 1992 Kona Lava Dome frame & take it for a good thrashing! If builds aren’t your thing skip to the riding at 8:00! 90’s Kona’s are just so rad, the geometry and look of the frames was way ahead of their time. What other 30 year old mountain bike frame looks this good? Frame is a Size L, and gets built up resto-mod style with a modern 10 speed 1X drivetrain & cockpit.
