Here’s a lullaby taken from Words of Radiance, the sequel the best-selling novel Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. I really enjoyed some preview chapters they posted before the release (Mar 4 2014) and wanted to compose a lullaby featured in those chapters. The scene takes place in a flashback to Shallan’s childhood, with her father singing to her after a horrible incident involving a Shardblade and her mother’s death. I hope you enjoy!
