BAL AÇAÍ: INNOVATING WITH SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, PRODUCING THE PUREST AÇAÍ IN THE AMAZÔNIA

Founded by Irani Bertolini on May 22, 1978, in the city of Bento Gonçalves/RS, BERTOLINI specialized in transport to the Amazon, where it grew and reached national projection. The carrier’s headquarters are located in Manaus/AM, and it also has 25 branches spread over several states, with a road fleet of 2,400 vehicles, in addition to 66 pushers and 240 ferries that sail in the hydrographic basin of Northern Brazil. The company generates 5000 direct and indirect jobs. BERTOLINI’s business activities are currently diversified. A shipyard produces rafts, push boats, yachts and floating platforms, one of which is an industrial boat that navigates the rivers of the Amazon, absorbing the production of açai from small producers and family farmers. A social action, sustainable and, above all, of great humanity.
