Karghet (Sweden) - Demo I (Demo 2024)

Debut demo by this new horde of maniacs. Formed by the mysterious Swedish duo of Akwihurz and Anatema on strings and drums, respectively, joined by american Collier d’Ombre on vocal duties, Karghet set off to release a 35 minute blast of atavistic darkness. Rooted in 80s and early 90s Black Metal, Karghet are definitely influenced by the Thrashing, razor-sharp primitive ways of early Bathory and Tormentor. A sound of eternal glory and bloodthirsty satanic might that, combined by the second wave freezing darkness and grit of early Darkthrone results in an unrestrained assault of frantic, murderous mania under the gaze of the fullmoon. Certainly to be appreciated by adepts of early Craft, Azelisassath, Katharsis, Skuggeheim etc. Privately self-released on home-dubbed tapes, limited to 15.
