Ruby Gillman - Jon Magram Storyboards - “BFF Bonding“ (Pitch Video)

I only did a couple sequences for Ruby Gillman, and this scene was from *very* early on in the production. Like, the first month or two. The launch on this one was pretty minimal, essentially just “come up with some stuff they could be doing during their bonding montage.“ I remember struggling a lot on it (also probably because it was days after the pandemic started), but once I decided on the song, the rhythm and tone of the sequence clicked into place and started to work. Basically I’m just saying 10,000 Maniacs is doing all the heavy lifting here.
