In conversation with legendary and renowned actor of 1950s and 60s Jabeen Jalil. Born in Delhi on 1st April 1937, Jabeen Jalil belongs to an illustrious family. At the age of 2, her family shifted to Japan. Coming back from Japan after four years, her father settled in Mumbai where she completed her studies from Queen Mary and Elphinstone College.
During a play in college, Jabeen Jalil was spotted by director producer S M Yusuf and his wife Nigar Sultana and offered her a role in films. Jabeen did about 34 films, many of which got massive success. After doing Vachan in 1974, she opted not to work anymore as an actress. She lives happily in Mumbai with her husband Ashok Kak and her son Divij Kak.
