His interest in electronic music was born in the late 80s listening to groups as Kraftwerk, New Order, Depeche Mode and Information Society. During the 90s he evolved into underground and garage music and bought his first mixer and turntables. In the end of 90s, DJ Cayres had contact with the sound of top djs as Sasha, John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg and he started to improve his skills as a DJ. His career as a professional DJ began in 2002 playing in some clubs of interior of Sao Paulo State as Anzu Club.
