Painting Saguaro Cactus with Gouache by Philip Boelter
Have you tried gouache? I have fell in love with the art medium. It’s similar to watercolor but it’s very opaque. I like to use the Holbein Gouache paint, 140 lb Hot Pressed watercolor paper by Legion, and love the Winsor and Newton Series 7 watercolor brushes. Grab a palette pan for mixing your paint, a jar or water, a paper towel, and you’re good to go!
