Miami’s EXECUTIVE Plane Spotting: Classic + Private Aircraft at Opa Locka (OPF / KOPF)

Welcome to Miami’s Executive airport located in the suburb of Opa Locka. This airport is mainly used for private jets visiting the Miami area however some of the more interesting traffic the airport gets is DC-3 and Convair cargo traffic connecting to the Bahamas! The airport has a large maintenance facility which is why their are a few 767’s here. Furthermore, this airport is also a base for the U.S Coast Guard and their HC-144 aircraft.
