ESOC 2016: Middle distance

After some troubles with the snow conditions in Austrian Obertilliach, today the competitors finally saw some good weather. A sunny day with clear blue skies, and with plenty of snow on the ground, set the stage for an exciting day of Ski Orienteering. Today was the third day of races and it was time for the middle distance mass start races. Norway’s Lars Moholdt won the men’s class. His finish was followed by an intense battle for second place where Andrey Lamov (RUS) just managed to beat World Cup Leader
