Victor Richards from Washington DC was a 90’s bodybuilding phenom and at around 150kg at about 5’9” he was arguably the biggest on the planet. In this video clip he was invited to guest pose at the 1993 NZIFBB National Champs to a sold out theatre in Auckland. I’ve been a competitor in the New Zealand bodybuilding scene for the past 30 years but I’m also a big fan of the sport. I used to take my video camera to competitions throughout the early 90’s onwards. I have hours of footage I took of comps on my video camera or I recorded from tv, all on VHS tapes. The tapes are sitting in storage but slowly degrading, some I noticed sadly are already unwatchable. It’s a shame to have these memories wa
