LEARNING AT HOME … IN LOCKDOWN Are YOU at school? In more than 100 countries, across the world … School children are NOT at school. This is because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) Teachers don’t want pupils to get sick Or spread the virus. So students are staying at home … And learning. What’s it like – learning under lockdown? Let’s hear from three students in the UK. All: Hi! Harvey: I’m Harvey, I’m 14 and I live in Camden. Caitlin: I’m Caitlin, I’m 13 and I live in Guildford. Josh: Hi, I’m Josh. I’m 14 and I live in Kingston. Your school is closed. How do you feel? Harvey: How do I feel about leaving school? At first, I felt sad to leave, and now I’m really bored as I don’t get to see my friends. Caitlin: At first when I heard school was closing I was excited but now I’m just bored. Josh: At first I was really excited but now I’m just bored.
