Pakistan: Mob Beats Christian Man, Burns His House Over “Blasphemy” In Pakistan’s Sargodha city, an angry mob attacked a Christian man over suspicion of blasphemy. The police said that the victim was attacked for allegedly desecrating the Quran. The mob, which included children as well, torched the 70-year-old victim’s house and shoe factory. Viral videos on social media show attackers stealing victim’s belongings. The reports suggest five other Christians were also injured in the attack. The police said that the area has been cordoned off and Christian residents have been evacuated safely. The Human Rights Commission in Pakistan said that Christians were at grave risk from charged mobs.
