AS71 - Misty - vintage acoustic archtop comparison

Hey guys, today’s the big comparison day : i’m playing the A part of Misty, the great Erroll Garner standard on 8 vintage high end acoustic archtops : -1936 Epiphone Deluxe -1937 Epiphone Deluxe -1938 Epiphone Deluxe -1939 Epiphone Emperor -1946 Epiphone Deluxe -1934 Gibson L5 -1978 Guild Artist Award -1942 D’Angelico Excel I’m using the same pick on all (purple Dunlop ) and they all have bronze strings except the Guild AA that has nickel round 13s, and the Epiphone blonde Deluxe 38 that has flats 13s. The sound is recorded with a Neumann TLM 103. Feel free to comment and share your thought, although it’s hard when there are so many to compare (it’s like comparing 8 perfumes in a shop, you loose your nose after 3 or 4). If you want to hear a full song on each guitar, check the channel, all the guitars are featured there, with at least one full song.
