Mini Bikepacking Adventure. Hammock Camp in the Pine Forest. Boerewors Sausage. Cast Iron Skillet.

In this video, I am off an a little bikepacking mini adventure to the pine forest. With my bike packed with everything I’ll need, I head off along leafy lanes, gravel tracks and sandy paths to find a nice quiet spot to set up my hammock and tarp. Once set up, I settle down to enjoy the evening with a tasty dinner of Boerewors sausage and rice, washed down with a couple of fine beers. I love the pine forest, I’ve said it many times before - I find it a grounding place with hushed sounds and an intimate beauty. For me it was the perfect place to go for a bit of relaxation and to unwind and de-compress. Travelling by bike as I did means I can reach this place more easily - admittedly, I could get there on foot, but by bike I can get there sooner and have more time to enjoy the place. Bike packing is a great way to explore further and still be able to carry all the gear you will need. I hope you enjoy the video, Thanks for watching. Links Sonder Frontier NX Eagle Bike
