Dave Freeland (1971) - I WANT TO KNOW - audio from original master recording - classic loner folk

It doesn’t get more REAL than this. Teen angst! Here is a real high school kid from the heartland of America unashamedly feeling and expressing the soaring emotional highs and lump-in-the-throat lows that come with young adulthood. This sincere loner-folk effort is from Dave’s only single. He sings and plays all the parts (with the exception noted below). It was recorded May 18, 1971 in four sequential tracks. On the first track the left channel vocal and 12-string acoustic guitar were laid down. Next came the right channel vocal. The third pass was for the cymbal only.
