Drosera Capensis: time lapse eating a fly (HD with a surprise)
Our Drosera Capensis continues eating flies to supplement its diet. The total recording time was 20.6 hours (compared to 5.6 hours in our previous Capensis video). Notice how the tentacles wrap around the fly to immobilise it. Then the entire leaf curls up around the fly. We let the camera record all night under artificial lights. But in the morning, we discovered the fly was gone! What happened to it? Watch the full video to find out.
