Dismalimerence / Nurez / Olim / The Wolf Garden - Recurrence (full split, 2022)

We are very proud to bring you another epic constellation of Order members, in the form of this four-way split between Dismalimerence, Nurez, Olim and The Wolf Garden, released on Flowing Downward. This split is a great showcase of each of these band’s masterful takes on various shades of the blackened atmospheric spectrum; presented in the form of a four-seasons themed split, extended through the cover artwork (illustrated by Skogens Rymd Art). An immersive, complementary set of four epic-length tracks that convey the most naturalistic of black metal’s ambiences; through earthy, atmospheric, granite cold, ethereal and elegant, wintery and melancholic, loamy, and carnal incarnations. Having been playing this on pretty hard repeat for a while, I am confident in putting this alongside the great splits like the epic Sadness / Show Me a Dinosaur / Violet Cold / A Light in the Dark / Unreqvited one, which elevated those bands to greater attention.
