Jonny ’Nice’ Powell plays Gm to his favourite gypsy jazz backing at the Ramsbottom Tap Sunday Harmonica Karaoke, 1st Decembe 2019. The bar emptied leaving just myself and Lamin so we cranked the amps to an unsocial level 🙉 - a bit sketchy in places & Lamin’s phone was a bit crook but captured the sound without blowing out too much. Gear junkie supplement: Jonny is playing through an EV605 with mid 50’s white Shure CR element & a Vintage 47 1955 Twin Supreme amp.... all that Valco inspired octal valve goodness!!👊 This amp is so loud had to run it through a Weber Mini Mass to avoid putting the windows out - it really comes alive at volume!
