Revision stapedotomy for partially eroded incus Ossiculoplasty with Bucket Teflon prosthesis
(Language: English & french). Left revision stapedotomy following previous long-term failed stapedotomy. Middle ear exploration reveals a partially eroded incus with prosthesis dislocation (Teflon piston). Re-fenestration of the labyrinth with the hand-held diode laser and a skeeter-drill with vein graft interposition. The partially eroded incus is preserved and ossiculoplasty is performed with a diameter Teflon Bucket-type prosthesis which is positioned underneath the lenticular process of the incus.
