Mouth-Organ Madness! (1932)

Introductory intertitle reads: “Over in Germany the lads are crazy on harmonicas, and in thousands of small workshops the sound of the mouth-organ is heard.“ C/U of a man smoking a pipe who is sitting at a bench making a harmonica. He seems to be testing the tones. C/U of his hands as he uses a kind of tuning fork to test the notes. C/U of a miniature harmonica being taken out of a tiny leather pouch. M/S of four men sitting on a bench side by side playing a very long harmonica! It looks rather silly. High angle shot of large group of children (about 40 of them) playing harmonicas together, there is a man standing in front conducting so it is a kind of harmonica orchestra. M/S of the children playing, camera pans along. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
