It’s finally time to put the converted SMG transmission back together with the machined bellhousing. We also do some maintenance on the BMW E46 M3: rear main seal, constant pressure valve (CPV) o-ring, pilot bearing, new clutch and pressure plate, and reseal the transmission. Some of the other supporting mods for the smg conversion included installing the clutch pedal, shifter assembly, input shaft seal, shift rod seal, output shaft seal, drilling a hole for the shifter, and installing the shifter arm bushing carrier. This video was filmed as a VLOG, but there will be a separate video that goes into the specifics of what all the E46 M3 SMG to 6 Speed Manual Conversion entails.
